Qualitative characteristics of the fungus Cyclocybe Aegerita Strains 2229, 2230, 2231 under industrial cultivation conditions

The “poplar” mushroom C. aegerita has fruiting bodies that are attractive for their appearance and tasty properties. It is also known mushrooms contain unique substances, especially proteins, polysaccharides, aromatic terpenes with enhanced nutritional medicinal value. However, the lack of a well-founded technology cultivation using available agriculture wastes interferes domestic market saturation this mushroom. Three strains from IBK culture collection were investigated on possibility introducing them into industrial culture. vegetation cycle 2230 2231 was found to have duration 42 days versus 46-64 previously studied strains. highest yield obtained in study strain 2231, which yielded 217 220 grams per kilogram substrate during three cycles cultivation. biological efficiency as result first fructification flush 20,2 (2229) 60.4 % (2231), agreement published data other investigators. external described detail parameters analyzed, differed each both by shape size. Microclimatic conditions study, had brown caps, whereas formed 2229 distinguished pleasing milky cream color. heaviest (7.5±0.4 g), an average 2 g higher than weight fungi studied. at height 91.0±1.8 mm, widest cap 29.5±0.9 mm diameter. greatest diameter stipe, reaching 10.8±0.3 observed 2229. variability morphological characters tendencies number certain size total volume harvested investigated, can help design packing marketing measures.
